The first step to keeping your skin healthy is to thoroughly cleanse it. It is extremely important to remove any make-up left on your face before you go to bed at night. For this, use a good cleanser that is suitable for your skin type.

Scrubbing will also help make your tan fade faster as new cells are now being formed faster. It is best to scrub once or twice a week, instead of every day, as over scrubbing can be harsh on your skin. This is especially true for sensitive skin types such as dry or combination skin types.
